Sailor.com.au head sailoroo - Chris -  is a passionate ocean sailor/racer and it runs in the family. Chris' great grandfather Dimitri was a sailor in the good old days before GPS and sat phones.

Chris as a child loved adventure. Instead of choosing the backyard he explored the bush and beaches near his home. Chris to this day still has passion for ocean adventure. Having lived it and breathed it, he wants to make it easier for those to share the same passion for sailing.

Using his background in ocean racing as well as technology, Chris is perfectly suited to be part of sailor.com.au mission to make it more rewarding to be a sailor.

 

We evaluated this market and identified a major opportunity to better serve owners and sailors by applying race data using a new sailor  rating system. We have spent countless research and development hours on a new sailor ocean rating system and servicing models to create the first-ever sailor centric platform.

Sailor.com.au goal is to be the go-to place when looking for sailors for a race, vessel relocation or sailing experts. Sailor.com.au has launched their sailing service in Australia, with other major countries to follow.
